Camerons, a Garenne Company, have been recognised as the Appleby Business of the Year at the Jersey Construction Council Awards. The awards, which took place on Saturday 14th September, celebrate the achievements of businesses in the island’s vital construction and related industries.

Marc Burton, managing director of Camerons, said:

‘I am delighted that Camerons has been recognised as Business of the Year. It really is testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.’

The judges praised Camerons’ commitment to Jersey and said it was a key factor in their decision to award the accolade to the business.

‘This year’s winner is a well-established local firm that has made, and continues to make a huge impact on the island. Strongly focused on and clearly committed to Jersey, this company believes in working with the community as it seeks to deliver its projects in innovative ways and invests significant sums into the island’s economy.’

‘A company which displays such confidence in Jersey is fantastic news for the construction industry and this was an important factor in the judges’ decision…This company has shown a clear commitment to training and improving the skills of their team… This firm’s employees are highly motivated and willing to go the extra mile to help ensure the company delivers to the highest standards.’
