The Garenne Construction Group are extremely keen to continue to invest in employment in Jersey and are looking to hold their first Group careers fair on Wednesday 28th March on the Ground Floor of Building One at the International Finance Centre. Garenne’s trading business’s Camerons, Geomarine, AFM, Granite Le Pelley and Rabeys will be in attendance on the day along with support from Highlands College and Skills Jersey to help with anyone who would like to consider a career in Construction, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management and Vehicle Mechanics and Sales.
Marc Burton, CEO of the Garenne Group in the Channel Islands says, “We really would like to have school leavers and undergraduates consider looking at the options available within our companies. We have over 100 different types of careers available in the Group from the traditional building and site based and hands-on roles to more of the administrational and client facing roles. We have modern day apprenticeships to management training positions and we'd like to show what working in our industries entail and offer people an alternative career choice to going into the Finance Industry."
This event will show that there are some great career options available to school leavers, undergraduates, graduates or people that have transferable skills and fancy a change of career.
